Privacy notice

Runway Bites is a charcuterie cart and grazing table business in Miami, Florida. This notice covers the Runway Bites website at runwaybites.miami. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

We collect what you type into the booking form, and a count of page views. There is no advertising tracker on this site, no third-party cookie, and no profile built about you. Your details are used to quote and plan your event, and that is all.

What the booking form collects

Only the fields you fill in: your name, your email address, your phone number, your event date, your guest count, the type of event, the service you are after, and anything you write in the details box. The page you submitted from is recorded alongside it.

Your name is required, and so is either an email address or a phone number, because without one of those we cannot send a quote back. Everything else is optional.

Where it goes when you press send

The form does not post to a third-party form service. It posts to a small program we run on Cloudflare, which turns your answers into an email and sends it to the Runway Bites inbox. A copy also goes to ThatsKrispy, the studio that built and maintains this website, so that a failed enquiry can be traced rather than silently lost.

That means the parties who see what you submit are: Runway Bites, ThatsKrispy, and the infrastructure providers carrying the message, which are Cloudflare for the sending and Google for the receiving mailbox. Nobody else. Your details are never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

If you choose the WhatsApp button instead, your message travels through WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply to it. That is your choice to make, and the email route is always available if you would rather not use it.

How long it is kept

Enquiry emails are kept in the Runway Bites inbox for as long as they are useful for quoting, planning and the ordinary business record, and are deleted on request. Ask and we will remove yours.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores two things in your own browser, using local storage rather than cookies, and neither ever leaves your device:

• Whether you have dismissed the cookie notice, so it stops reappearing.
• Your accessibility settings, so text size, contrast and motion choices survive between visits.

You can clear both at any time through your browser settings, or by pressing Reset all in the accessibility panel.

Visitor numbers

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, so Runway Bites can see which pages people actually read. It sets no cookie, does not use your device for fingerprinting, and does not follow you to other websites. What it records is the page, the referring site, and coarse details about your browser, country and device type, all of it aggregated. There is no way for us to pick an individual visitor out of it, and it is not linked to anything you type into the booking form.

Fonts and outside requests

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google and Google therefore sees the request. Apart from that and the visitor counting above, no other outside service is contacted while you read this site. Photographs, video and our own scripts are all served from this domain.

Children

This site is aimed at people booking events and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Florida residents and visitors from other states or countries with their own privacy laws are welcome to make the same requests, and we will honour them regardless of where you live rather than checking whether we strictly have to.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date below changes with it. We will not quietly broaden what we collect and leave this page as it was.
